My dear friend, Hellen Diaz conceptualized Elizabeth Rico in 2015, envisioning a brand that highlighted lifestyle products. At the time, Hellen was aiming to launch an organic beauty line that consisted of ancient recipes from her El Salvador heritage, passed down by by her grandmother.
When Hellen described the brand traits, an image of Claire Underwood came to mind… only a warm and organic, Claire, if you will. Yes, a lifestyle brand that was classy, chic, and modern, with an edge of mystery. The logo was developed before I had a proper workflow in place, but it ended up working well for the labels.
The brand is currently behind closed doors, waiting for the right time to bloom… and I can’t wait until it does.
